Thrive Therapy Maryland
Alexander Stroh, Graduate-Level Intern
*Accepting Clients Starting April 2025*

Hello! I'm Alexander, and it's so nice to meet you! I am a graduate student at Capella University, pursuing my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Here at Thrive Therapy Maryland, I receive weekly Clinical Supervision in addition to internship coursework and ample training opportunities.
As a transgender man myself, I aim to provide you with the best quality of care through the use of cognitive behavioral therapy and creative experiences in the therapeutic room. My main focus areas are LGBTQ+ issues, neurodivergence, anxiety, and depression. I am happy to support children, adolescents and young adults in my room who are looking to experience a safe, non-judgemental, and affirming space. Prior to pursuing my counseling degree, I gained experience as a teacher in public schools, special education, and outdoor therapeutic centers.
It is important for all people to feel accepted and like they belong and I look forward to working with you in a space where you can truly be yourself! Please contact me to schedule a session!
